"Legion War" is a 4X strategy game set in a fantasy realm. Players have the opportunity to develop and expand their territories, venture into uncharted territories in search of hidden treasures, nurture powerful heroes and troops while thwarting their adversaries, and even challenge the divine entity governing the world from the shadows.

• Legions: The initial EA version features three legions, namely the expansive HUMAN legion, crafty UNDEAD legion, and advanced STEAM legion. Each legion introduces 3 unique heroes, 9 specialized units, 9 spells, and a collection of exclusive technology cards.
• Procedurally Generated Worlds: Worlds are procedurally generated to guarantee a fresh experience with each gameplay. Players can choose from five distinct map types: Pangaea, Great Plain, Mediterranean, Islands, and Ring Continent. Every map supports up to six legions engaging simultaneously.
• Resources: Competition revolves around securing access to four distinct in-game resources: Gold, Knowledge, Industry, and Magic. Resources can be captured from corresponding locations on the map or acquired by constructing structures within castles.
• Units: Units serve as the core component of your legion, essential for exploration, combat, and ultimately, establishing dominance. Each legion boasts 9 unique units, while players can recruit various neutral units by taking control of mercenary camps or sea castles.
• Heroes: Heroes play a pivotal role in your forces. Each legion presents 3 unique heroes who can greatly influence the outcome of battles. Furthermore, normal units can be upgraded into heroes through technology cards, granting access to talents and equipment.
• Magic: Each legion offers 9 distinctive spells that consume mana upon casting. Spells exhibit diverse effects ranging from offensive capabilities to strategic advantages like revealing hidden information on the map.
• Castle Buildings: Gold is invested in constructing or upgrading buildings within castles and sea castles. Each castle accommodates one main building slot and eight secondary slots which become accessible as the castle evolves over time.
• Technology Cards: Knowledge enables players to unlock technology cards that can significantly alter gameplay dynamics. There are three primary tech trees per legion: economy, military, and magic. Technology cards can boost economic output, enhance unit capabilities, fortify spells among various other benefits.
• Unit Upgrade Trees: The industry resource facilitates acquiring upgrades for units that are universally effective for all units of a specific type. Players can tailor units according to strategic requirements by customizing talent trees and equipping items.
• Random Events: With hundreds of random events integrated into the gameplay, unexpected twists emerge as the game progresses offering dynamic experiences with each playthrough.
